Beard Papa’s Grand Opening This Weekend!

Get ready to indulge in the world’s most famous fresh and natural cream puffs, as Beard Papa’s, the beloved Japanese chain opens in the Marketplace.
The world-famous fresh and natural cream puffs chain, Beard Papa’s, is finally coming to Castro Valley! With its Japanese origins and cult following, the dessert destination is set to officially open 10 am on Saturday, August 5th, 2023!
Beard Papa’s specializes in creating the world’s best cream puffs and offers a wide variety of customizable delights.
On grand opening day, guests can expect special gifts for the first 100 customers, exclusive promotions running all day, giveaways, gift card sweepstakes, and more.
Additionally, various local influencers are scheduled to make appearances as well as neighboring business owners.

“This is truly a dream come true.” said Ye Ye, owner and long time resident of Castro Valley. “I’ve always wanted to give back to the community which have given so much to me.”
Diners will get to create their custom flakey puff confections by choosing between eight cream puff shells followed by a selection of airy cream custard filling flavors that range from traditional staples to monthly featured seasonal flavors.
Beard Papa’s won’t serve the full menu until a few weeks after opening. The menu does, however, extend beyond just puff pastries with offerings such as cheesecake, chocolate fondant, savory pastries, and an exclusive blended drinks menu.
