Stacey and Simon Tingstrom opened Cordial Bottle Shop in 2016, giving an old-school San Leandro liquor store a new life by stocking an encyclopedic stock of craft spirits, wines and beers, while maintaining the corner store spirit (the neon sign and lottery tickets stayed). Stacey, former fashion designer, wasn’t sure what type of business to open when she spied the shop for sale close to her San Leandro home, but Cordial Bottle Shop has quickly became a neighborhood destination for properly stocking the home bar, as well as discovering the new with its popular Friday night tasting program.

Cordial Cellar + Lounge in the basement level of the Castro Valley Marketplace will offer premium spirits, extensive wine selection and some light bites so that all that alcohol doesn’t go to your head.
