Chalk Art + Street Painting
If you lived in Italy during the 16th century, chances are you would have seen the seasonal coming and going to the Italian madonnari, or vagabond artists, who were famous for adorning the sidewalks with painted recreations of the Madonna to make a living. These artists would go from city to city with traveling shows or festivals.
We’re excited to bring our version of this tradition to Castro Valley.
Join us on the Paseo
Bringing more contemporary style, our resident artist, Sofia Casting, will be creating works of art on the Paseo.
